Can't seem to figure out which model # printer I have. The serial # is EKW34998

 

IT SAYS CANON  F156602

If you're trying to print from your computer you have to manually put in bottom tray to print normal letters. Once you hit print, go into media/ Quality, and there should be a button to hit bottom tray.

Bought a MF227dw printer just under one year and four months ago. Paper sensor fails. Tech support guy tells me that it's outside the warranty, but it's quite a rare problem for a relatively new machine. Tried to get some help from a supervisor - anything they could do? Nope, it's outside the warranty. So I can pay for repairs that cost about what I paid for the printer in the first place. 

 

So there it is: expect these pieces of crap to last about a year. Then expect to buy a new one.

mx310 wont scan multiple documents.....and scan to a pdf

After last update on Win 10 (64) my Navigator (Scanning) stopped working.

Couldn't communicate with the printer.

Solution:

 

Use the scanner function direct on the printer.

After scanning my MP Navigator Ex version 2.05 opened and I was able to save the img. 

 

My shortway for Navigator disappered but I found "C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon\MP Navigator EX 2.0\mpnex20.exe" and  I created a new.

I have changed cartridges and it still says support code 5100;  model is mx490;

no paper jam, so what do I do?

Canon MP560......was there every any fix to this.  I this cannot be fixed I will never buy a Canon again.  Just saying.

I just recieved my printer this morning and even though it took me awhile to make sure eberything was just right, I got it. I instantly got my phone and printer connected on the first try. Well I came back to my printer a little while later to try to do the whole "print" thing...I absolutely CANNOT get my phone and printer to connect!?! Ive restarted both devices, installed & uninstalled & reinstalled apps, nothing is working. Can someone tell me how to fix this?? I cant find anything about it online. I know how to set it all up, thats not the problem. Getting it to connect again is the problem. Tia!

No resolution and I haven't been able to take it in yet. I'm very disappointed in Canon!

I'm 98% sure that a new print head is not going to solve the problem.  I've swapped out a new print head from a different Canon printer that uses the same print head.  Unless you're still under warranty, it's going to cost you more (much more) to get it checked out and repaired than it will to buy another printer.

Installing Ink Cartridges on MX492( I have the correct cartridges!)

Read the instructions that came with printer.  Even viewed instuctions on You Tube.  I am generally pretty savvy technically but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.  Have installed ink cartridges on many of my  more advanced printers. Could I be missing a part on my printer.  Dunno!  Help!  If I had a good picture of the ink compartment before installing I might be able to determine if I am stupid or something is missing?
