I have the same issue... My printer looks brand new with about 50 pages run through it. Apparently Canon is unable to build a good printer or maybe they just want to build bad printers to keep you buying new ones.

If you have any antivirus, firewall or anti-spyware programs installed on your computer, please temporarily disable them and then attempt to reinstall the printer, as these programs can sometimes block the detection and successful installation of the printer. Once the printer is reinstalled successfully, you can re-enable the protection software.

gabush, one quick fix to try... at least this would resolve your error message on my TS9020... is to open the printer door slightly.
Now the printer door I have in mind here is the flat panel that has the word "Canon" on it and the LCD screen. Just below the LCD screen is a horizontal door handle. Pull that up and away, so that the LCD flat panel door angles out about 15 degrees on the bottom.
Now try giving a Print command. The paper tray should extend automatically, if it's pushed in, and printing should begin within about 10 seconds. I don't think it will extend automatically if the LCD flat panel door is fully closed. And if you're thinking this isn't particularly user friendly or obvious, I agree. (Shouldn't the error message prompt you to open the door a bit? I think so.) There are some odd, unintuitive things about the TS series that take a little getting used to, and this is one of them.
You should turn this printer off by pressing the power button, not by turning it off with a power strip or by unplugging it. It may offer to retract the paper tray when you do this. You can leave this LCD panel door open a bit as described above, or closed as you desire when the printer isn't being used for a cleaner look, but to operate the printer, this panel door should be open slightly.

I am having the same issue. Have never been able to scan wirelessly (or at all) using the MG6320. I also have no IJ Network folder, so not program. I have re-installed the software to the Canon to no avail.
I am running Windows 10.

MP470: how to remove paper jam?
My MP470 has a paper jam under the "C" symbol (where the color cartridge is replaced. But, it is also under some inner portions of the printer than don't seem easily removable.
Hopefully, I can attach a photo correctly. It shows needle-nose pliers pointing at the (white) paper which is under the blue plastic piece.
I can remove (tear off) tiny bits of this paper with pliers, but I'm having difficulty removing all of the paper.
Can anyone suggest how to remove this paper?

The troubleshooting instructions you referred me to didn't help.
I just got off the phone with tech support, and the rep told me that if the information you referred me to doesn't solve the problem, then the printer has to be serviced in order to remove the jam.

I have Windows 7 also and am unable to scan using my Cannon MG5522 devise. This is really like handcuffs. Renders this printer useless with what I need.

MG7720 won't update newly replaced (new) Magenta ink level on print Driver software Macintosh
I dumped Epson printers because they were deceptive and eventually got fined for really BIG class-action suit money for shutting down the entire printer, even if 1 ink cartridge was "low".
The Canon system is superior, however, the ink level reporting system can be somewhat confsuing...
After living with the Magenta cartridge flashing away for 3 weeks, but still printing perfectly, I decided to take it out anyway and replace with brand-new. I NEVER use refilled cartridges - only new factory Canon.
The ink display on printer is OK, the ink display on the printer's web page is OK, however the level shown on the Mac's (Canon) driver is way, way low - which is wrong - it's brand new! I tried taking the cartridge in and out several times, rebooting the computer and printer many times - magenta ink level just won't update. I don't know what else to try....
