Hi nvargas,

 

Please try performing a print head alignment on the unit by following the steps provided here to see if this will resolve the issue being experienced.  We also recommend trying to print the photos using the Easy-PhotoPrint program.  The Easy-PhotoPrint program is the program that Canon developed to easily print quality photos from the computer.

 

If you do not have the Easy-PhotoPrint program installed on your computer, it can be downloaded from the Canon USA website free of charge.  Please click here to go to the Drivers and Downloads page for the PIXMA MX922.  Once on the page, please do the following:

 

1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" field is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system. Please note that you may need to scroll up or down in the list to select your operating system.

 

2. Below the box labeled SOFTWARE, please locate and download the EASY-PHOTOPRINT EX software.

 

3. Once the file has been downloaded, please temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software that may be on your computer and then double-click on each the files and follow the prompts to install the program on your computer.  Once the program is installed successfully, the protection software can be re-enabled.

 

Should you still experience difficulty, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance. A representative will be happy to assist you free of charge.

ImageRunner C1335IF USB memory restriction

Have just taken delivery of an ImageRunner C1335IF and want to scan to USB thumb drive. However on selecting Scan then USB Memory I get a message saying :" The USB memory is restricted"  There is no further prompt and I can find no help to change the setting.

I can't print anynore with my Canon MX 410 unless I keep  changing  the "Print Color"  back and forth between Black and Color  I am using Windows 7 and trying to print with Google Chrome

Check to make sure that you have adequate levels of ink available in both cartridge slots.

My mx490 brand new has the same problem....have u found a solution?  I am about ready to return it as scanning is what I wanted

No solution has been offered.  ..none that fix this problem anyway.  I, too, bought the MX922 scanner specifically to convert multi-page, two-sided documents into PDFs by means of the Automated Document Feeder.  (I didn't even need the printer functionality.)  One firmware update pushed by Canon actually helped correct the problem a little but not completely.  The missing strip at the top of the page (or bottom of the back side) used to be larger, now it's down to about 1/4"

Hello everyone. My printer, out of nowhere, started printing in light blue instead of black. I was in the middle of printing out 3 copies of a document. Everything was printing fine, but then when it got to the 3rd page, it started printing in blue. I tried changing all the ink cartridges, but it didn't work.

Any recommendations are welcomed and appreciated!

To try and resolve the issue, please perform a print head alignment on the printer by following the steps shown here.  If the ink still does not print correctly, please perform at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings by following the steps shown here.  Should the issue continue, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance. I have a Pixima MG2545 and i keep getting a 4102 error saying paper os the wrong size when printing on photo settings.  I want to print on A4 photo paper - how hard can it be??!!!

I used my Canon mx490  3 times to copy photos now it want do anything want take my paper plus it came with no manual There's no paper jammed I think it's just a lousy device I wouldn't recommend it but I do wish it would work any suggestions

I tried inserting one or multiple pages, I get the beep,  but when I press copy, or colour copy, it does not feed, and copies a blank page. It never worked from day 1.
