Thanks for prompt response. The software used is as follows:

 

  • for .pdf - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2017 Release | Version 2017.009.20044.
  • for .doc - LibreOffice 5.1.4.2
  • for .jpg file - Microsoft Photos 17.425.10010.0

Using any of these, text and images can be printed separately but not when the text is added on top of the image.

When you try to use a profile for the first time you need to "load" it into Lightroom.

 

Select the profile dropdown menu, select "Other" and you should get all the installed profiles. Then select the ones you want.

Hello.

 

Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:

 

1.  Turn the printer off.

2.  Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.

3.  While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.

4.  Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.

5.  If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.

Canon Pixma MG5650: my computer cannot see it

Hello everybody,

 

few years ago I bought a MG5650.

 

I have two laptops, and they don't saw the printer online. It was online, no problem to connect it to the net: just the laptops didn't saw it. I followed the procedure, the printer connected to the net, then, when I arrived to the online printer's list, my laptops didn't see it

 

Then I did "something", and both they start to see it.

I really don't remember what.

 

Now, I formatted one of these laptops and... I've the same problem again: it can't see the printer online.

 

Really, I don't know why. The other laptop can see it without problem. This one don't.

 

Can you help me?

hi just not sure whats happen but my tabs has gone, the print tab on my mx 390 series just gone. Can somebody help not sure whats happening. Not sure why please help

Are you able to print from other program? 

 

If not, what errors occur when you are unable to print?

I am unable to print either, in the MX390 quick menu, all the print function tabs are gone but all the others are there. scan, web services,

Hey - I had the same error. Just bought it. I connected it directly with the printer cable and scanning worked fine from there. Not ideal I know, but I have a Mac and just plugged the cable into the docking station. I hope this helps.

Reinstalling the drivers for the printer may resolve the issue being experienced.  The latest drivers for the printer can be downloaded from the Canon USA website here.   Should you still experience difficulty after reinstalling the drivers, we ask that you please contact a Canon technical support representative here for further assistance. Hi. I have a MG5600 and I can't scan all of a sudden. I'm connected via network not USB. When I set it to scan it says set PC to scan but when I go in to scan on the PC it says I don't have a scanner set up. Searching for one doesn't find any. I'm using windows 10. It's printing fine. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong please? Thanks, Kirsty 

Keeping the MG2770 pixma printer AWAKE!!?

Have always loved Canon printers. But this new one, the Mg2770 pixma does something that's crazy-making. You have to manually, get up and go touch the "on" button to wake it up when you want to print. UGH!! My old Canon printer just always snapped to attention and printed when you wanted it to- no matter how long it sat there.

 

Is there anyway to configure this printer so that it is always "awake" and doesn't need to be manually nudged awake?

Hi again, and thank you for your reply.

 

We need more information. Is the iunit connected via a network? Is it plugged into a surge protector or directly to the wall outlet? If the unit connected to a network, the port is getting pinged by one of the computers. If it is connected to a surge protector it could be getting a power surge or dip in power causing the unit not to wake up etc. I would suggest unplugging the network cable and plug directly to a wall outlet and see if it wakes up.

MX922 photo color malfunction

I've been trying to print photo's recently, but they keep coming out miscolored or have lines. I've done multiple deep cleanings and it's still having the issue. How can I fix this?

 

The first photo is not supposed to be that warm, the man's suit should be black and the wedding dress should be white obviously and the groom and the groomsmen have grey suits on. The second photo is supposed to be black and white, but it has horizontal orangelike lines and it has an overall warmer tone.File May 09, 17 19 32.jpegFile May 09, 17 19 56.jpeg

ImageClass MF8350Cdn printing lines vertically on page

Hi:

 

I have an ImageClass MF8350Cdn that prints blueish lines vertically on pages after it heats up.  It will print the first 2 or 3 pages cleanly, then it starts printing pages with vertical lines, colored somewhat blueish.  I don't think the issue is toner as I've replaced the cartridges.

 

Thanks very much for any ideas to fix!

Add mine to the list. Bought Canon MX892 4 years ago. Very lightly used. The machine cannot be powered on.
