I am wanting to know if i can convert my canon pixma mp 530 or even my canon mx870 or my canon ts3322 to sulbimation printer? if so do you know where i can get the empty refillable cartridges with chips so i can put the sublimation ink in them and use one of those printers with my cricut maker to make Tshirts, mugs, tumbles, plates, hats and much more.

Hi, Shannon1984! The serial number you posed may correspond to the PIXMA MP250. That should appear somewhere on the top or front of the printer's casing You can get manuals, drivers, and software for that printer by clicking HERE.
If your printer isn't the PIXMA MP250, please provide more information so we can help you identify it.
I recently bought the G7020 Printer and I am loving what it can do, but I am also having some issues. I bought this printer specifically so that I could do large print jobs for homeschool. When I do a print job that is large (ex 75+ pages- may not be exact number, just large) it will start the job over in the middle of the print, without finishing it. This is frustrating because I don't want to sit and watch 180 pages print out to make sure it hasn't started over in the middle and wasted 50 pages. Has anyone run into this issue and how have you fixed it?

To help provide accurate directions for proceeding, we'll need to know what OS type and version is running on the computer. In broad terms, you can try manually removing the drivers and the printer installation, restart, and then reinstall using the individual driver installation files (instead of the full package installation).

Thanks for your reply...although it is a bit delayed. After doing the same thing over and over again, following the instructions online, I got it to work. It was very disappointing that your formerly excellent customer service was not available to me, a long time Canon customer (several printers since 2001 and cameras), without an unknown fee, especially during a time when income from work has vanished. This probably could have been solved in minutes rather than hours or waiting for a reply from Canon after a week. But, hey, I'm having trouble with Adobe too and have spent hours and hours and nothing tried has solved the issue.
As the subject suggests, even though I've installed the scanner driver for MG2520 on my Mac w Catalina 10.15.5, I'm unable to locate the IJ Scanner Utility, and therefore can't scan anything.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Well, I can tell you it isn't your imagination. I am having the same problem. But after reading the manual i think i know why the error won't go away. did you remove the ink caridge from your printer and leave it out by chance? after reading the manual it says to not remove the cartridge and leave it out as it can cause permanent damage to the printer, that is the dumbest thing i ever read. I removed the cartridge and sat it on top of the printer as a reminder that i need to replace it, i shopped around for cartridges and walmart was out, i went by walgreens to see if they would refill the ink and was advised they do not do that anymore, amazon wanted $30 for a ink cartridge and i watched a youtube video about refilling your existing cartridge it was brought to light that the black ink needs replacing every 50 pages and is only half full, i felt confident refilling my existing cartridge as i have done technical things in the past and proceeded to buy the BCH refill kit for $15 boasting an average savings of $200 with enough ink to fill cartridge 6 times over i was impressed by the savings. I was excited i received the kit today, i followed the tutorial and bored a hole in the top of the cartridge as instructed (removing PG-243 label), then put 7 tiny pumps of ink, replaced label and angled the catridge pushing and snapping it into place as instructed, and the gosh **bleep** lamp is blinking 4 times. now this worthless printer is not recognizing neither the color or the black ink, my guess is because i removed the cartridge and left it out for about a week, who would of known that that would interefere with the print process once the catridge is replaced. i will spend more money on an hp next time, that is what i get for buying a cheap piece of crap printer for $35. Community, if i am missing something, please help me out, as i have tried turning off the printer unplugging, removing cartridge powering back on and re-installing catridges and that did not make a difference.

Did you ever solve this problem? It has been an endless source of frustration for me since upgrading to Catalina. The "expert" advice that you received was not correct.
No function works. Updated FW. Turn on/off multiple times. Reset to factory default. Plug in/out from electrical outlet.
Tried to copy 1 sheet. Does not copy. Just makes noise for 2 min and then silence and the data light keeps blinking continuously. WiFi light solid blue. No error light.
What is going on. This is irritating.

The print area control will be found in the Page Handling submenu of the system print window. This may not be present in the system print window for all programs and apps. Refer to Apple's support for more information on the print window (https://support.apple.com).

Canon MX492
The printer is connected via wifi and set up through through the menu on the printer.
When I install "MX490 series Full Driver & Software Package (Windows)" win-mx490-1_1-ucd.exe, no printer is found and nothing prints. If I uninstall all Canon software and use the "add printer" feature when viewing printers in Windows, it discovers the printer, adds it, and the printer prints fine. But this does not allow me to scan documents. If I install the Canon software package, the printer deletes and again, no printer is found. Please assist.
Ok my Son cleaned the encoder strip twice now the first line printed is great then everyother line is real light any suggestions.

I would like to print on 5x7 (approx) stationary from a Word doc. MacBook Pro/Word for Mac. All totally updated. I can create the document in the correct size, but when I send it to the printer, it wants me to put the paper in the upper photo tray. The paper is slightly larger than standard 5/7 photo paper so it doesn't fit. When I the paper in tray 2, I get an error message that says the paper isn't recognized (after I hit the register button). It seems to be that this shouldn't be impossible. It's standard weight paper, just smaller!!!
